Brownie the Horse

My newest character scarf creation. One of my clients requested a horse scarf, so I had to come up with one. This is my first attempt and not too shabby if I do say so myself.Isn’t she a beauty?

Beige Marl Felted Handbag Update

NOT!Just wanted to show you all a photo of the handbag in progress. I have knitted the bottom of the bag with just the Natural Mix, then I am continuing with the Beige Marl to finish it.

I am planning on having a flap closure with added beads to give the closure some weight. I am still not quite sure how I am going to do the handles yet.As you can see I am using my 30″ Versatile AJAL from Decor Accents. I absolutely love this board.

Forever Blowing Bubbles or Bobbles Scarf

NOT!
This is such a cute scarf and I really want to try it. However, where to find those little balls you need. Well, never fear…I have found these little balls that will work perfectly. You get them at Hobby Lobby or Michaels in the cake decorating section. They are called Balloons Cake Decorations. They are about $2.66, at least that was the price at my local Hobby Lobby. You get 3 balloon sets per package and the little balls just pull off. There are 36 little balls (balloons) in each package. So, you’d have 72 to use for the scarf and I think that would be plenty. Here is a photo!
The pattern calls for 1 inch balls, which would be the size of a quarter. These are the size of a dime, maybe a little bigger. I think they’ll work great! I will let you know…

Hi everyone,<NOT!
I just wanted to thank all for the nice comments about my blog. I have enjoyed adding stuff and learning about blogging. Make sure you vote in my new polls. It will be fun to see what you answer. I will post a new poll everyother week or so, so be sure to keep a look out for those and join in. Also, I have added some pic’s of my family, so you can get to know me better. There in the sidebar…(Flickr). Some are new photo’s, some are not so new. I am going to start snapping some new photo’s of them soon, so we’ll see if I am still alive after that…LOL (they hate me taking their photo’s)
Ok, well I am off to finish my new handbag…I just can’t wait to felt it!

Purple KK Board Scarf

This is the scarf I made on the Purple KK Board. I used Lion Boucle’ yarn mixed with KnitPicks Butterfly Kisses yarn. It took almost 3 skeins of the Lion Brand and 1 of the Butterfly Kisses.

<NOT!
It is as wide as the Purple KK Board and 60″ long.

This next photo is of my daughter stretching it as hard as she could and you can see that it is not at all as holey as you might think. In fact you have to pull it to see the holes. Overall a beautiful thick, with a nice drape scarf. I sold all I made of these but this one, so people love them. You could seam two together for a very beautiful shawl.
